poses a significant threat to boaters.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM EDT...

For the following areas...
Waters from South Santee River SC to Edisto Beach SC extending from
20 nm to 40 nm...

At 538 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located
near Y-73 Reef, or near Edisto Buoy, moving east at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 35 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Capers Mid Shelf...               Y-73 Reef...
Doug Mellichamp Reef...           Edisto Buoy...
Comanche Reef...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
Service.
