...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 447 PM EDT, a thunderstorm was located near Bulls Bay, moving
northeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Put on a
personal flotation device.

A Special Marine Warning may be needed. Boaters should consider
heading for shore before conditions deteriorate.
