...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT
FOR PORTIONS OF EFFINGHAM...CHATHAM...BEAUFORT AND JASPER COUNTIES...

At 604 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Switzerland,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include:
Port Royal, Ridgeland, Springfield, Jasper, Rincon, Port Wentworth,
Hardeeville, Grahamville, Ebenezer, Lemon Island, Sun City,
Stillwell, Switzerland, Purysburgh, and Shell Point.

This warning includes the following interstates:
 I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 2 and 27.
 I-95 in Georgia between mile markers 111 and 112.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
