Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ200-271015- 415 PM CDT Thu Sep 26 2024 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS... A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect across offshore waters south of Port Aransas through 11am Friday. Swells from Hurricane Hermine in the eastern Gulf of Mexico are expected to reach our offshore waters later this evening and elevated seas from Hurricane Helene may linger into Saturday. Otherwise, winds are expected to be light and variable with seas decreasing to 1 to 2 feet over the weekend.
