...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DUVAL...NORTHEASTERN
WEBB...SOUTHERN LA SALLE AND SOUTHWESTERN MCMULLEN COUNTIES THROUGH
400 AM CDT...

At 304 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms capable of producing a landspout near Encinal, moving
west at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Freer, Encinal, Las Tiendas, Seven Sisters, La Esperanza Ranch
Airport, Callaghan, and Botines.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 21 and 50.
 US Highway 59 between mile markers 762 and 790.
 US Highway 83 between mile markers 668 and 696.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for south central
Texas.
