Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
435 AM EDT Mon Jun 24 2024

A storm system passing north of Pennsylvania into New England will
bring breezy, drier and cooler weather to the state today, with a
passing shower possible over the northern mountains. Highs today
will range from the low 70s over the mountains of Northeast
Pennsylvania, to the mid 80s over the south central part of the
commonwealth.

High pressure will build in from the west tonight, bringing clear
skies and a diminishing breeze. Low temperatures will range from
near 50 in the coolest valleys of the Alleghenies, to the upper
60s in Philadelphia.

The high will slip off of the east coast Tuesday, resulting in
fair and warmer weather for most of Pennsylvania. However, a warm
front lifting across the Great Lakes could produce a late day
shower or thunderstorm near Lake Erie. Highs Tuesday will range
from the 80s over most of the state, to near 90 across the
southeast piedmont.
