Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
309 PM MDT Tue Jun 18 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Very dry air and cool conditions are expected for the remainder of
today. Breezy winds will create elevated fire weather concerns due
to near-critical thresholds for afternoon minimum humidity readings.
Well below normal temperatures are expected across the area for
Wednesday, keeping fire weather concerns low. However, surface high
pressure will make for mostly dry conditions and breezy winds along
and east of the Laramie Range. Any flashy fuels that are cured may
still be favored for fire spread conditions.
