...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT KIOWA...BARBER...COMANCHE...
PRATT...SOUTHEASTERN EDWARDS AND EASTERN CLARK COUNTIES THROUGH 1045
PM CDT...

At 958 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fellsburg to 8 miles east of Acres.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Greensburg, Protection, and Trousdale around 1005 PM CDT.
  Coldwater and Haviland around 1010 PM CDT.
  Lake Coldwater around 1015 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Wilmore,
Wellsford, Belvidere, Buttermilk and Cullison.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central and southwestern Kansas.
