...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KIOWA...SOUTHEASTERN
PAWNEE...STAFFORD...NORTHERN PRATT AND SOUTHEASTERN EDWARDS COUNTIES
THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 908 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Larned to near Pratt. Movement was east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Pratt, St. John, Iuka, Radium, and Dillwyn around 915 PM CDT.
  Seward around 920 PM CDT.
  Preston around 925 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Stafford, Hudson,
Neola and Zenith.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central Kansas.
