This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Substantial flooding will continue across the Iron Range,
Borderlands and the Arrowhead of northeast Minnesota. While water
levels have begun to recede, some larger rivers will not crest
until this weekend. Thunderstorms are possible today into
tonight, mainly from east-central Minnesota into northwest
Wisconsin. Severe storms are not expected but locally heavy
rainfall is possible, mainly from east-central Minnesota into
portions of northwest Wisconsin.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

With water levels still elevated, flooding remains a concern
across northeast Minnesota. Further rain and storms on Saturday
may cause more hydrological issues across the area heading into
the weekend. Additionally, strong to severe storms are possible
across northwest Wisconsin on Saturday.

There will be a high risk of rip currents Saturday along the
beaches in the Twin Ports.

A few strong to severe storms are possible Monday late afternoon
through late Monday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed Saturday and again Monday. Spotters
and the public are encouraged to submit reports of rainfall
amounts and flooding today through the weekend.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

A 10 to 15 percent chance for thunderstorms exists tonight across
portions of western Lake Superior.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Chances for thunderstorms continue into Saturday with another
shot for storms coming early next week.

Gusty easterly winds Saturday may create hazardous conditions for
smaller vessels. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect.
