...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ST. LOUIS...EAST
CENTRAL CARLTON...SOUTHWESTERN LAKE AND NORTHWESTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES
THROUGH 1100 AM CDT...

At 1031 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Island Lake to Proctor to near Wrenshall.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Duluth, Superior, Hermantown, Two Harbors, Proctor, Poplar,
Wrenshall, Oliver, Jay Cooke State Park, Wisconsin Point, City of
Rice Lake, Amnicon Falls State Park, French River, South Range,
McQuade Harbor, Larsmont, Island Lake, Knife River, Stoney Point, and
Pike Lake Near Duluth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
