...The National Weather Service in Des Moines IA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River near Stratford affecting Webster, Boone and
  Hamilton Counties.

  East Fork Des Moines River at Dakota City affecting Humboldt
  County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Des Moines River near Stratford, or from the Boone
  River to near the City of Boone.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.8 feet, Water affects the 400 block of Juniper
  Rd...west of Fraser. Water also affects the 1100 block of 155th
  St...east of Fraser.
  At 19.0 feet, Water affects 157th St on the west side of Fraser.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 24.5
    feet early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River at Dakota City, or from
  Highway C26 to the West Fork Des Moines River.

* WHEN...From Monday evening to Saturday, June 29.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water affects the Dakota City bridge just
  south of town.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Monday evening to a crest of 21.5 feet Wednesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, June
    29.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
