...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN MARSHALL...SOUTHWESTERN TAMA AND NORTHEASTERN JASPER
COUNTIES...

At 935 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Melbourne, or
11 miles southwest of Marshalltown, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Marshalltown, State Center, Rock Creek Lake, Le Grand, Melbourne,
Kellogg, Gilman, Rhodes, Montour, Laurel, Haverhill, Oakland Acres,
Ferguson, and Rock Creek State Park.
