St. Clair River...

* Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots have been observed across Lake
  St. Clair and the St. Clair River. The peak gusts are expected
  within the next hour before subsiding below 34 knots after 100 PM
  EDT.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

SOURCE...Observed. At 1143 AM EDT, a wind gust of 60 knots was
         observed at Peche Island Light.

IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high
         winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek safe shelter...mariners can expect gusty winds and increasing
waves.
