...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Romulus, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Taylor, Romulus, and Flat Rock around 455 PM EDT.
  Trenton around 515 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Brownstown Township,
Gibraltar, Willow, New Boston, Sumpter Township, Woodhaven,
Riverview, Rockwood, Southgate, and Waltz.

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 27 and 37.
 I-275 between mile markers 8 and 19.
 I-94 between mile markers 192 and 196.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
