This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Scattered thunderstorms will occur today into tonight but severe
weather is not expected. However, any stronger storm may produce
gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

Thursday through Saturday, Hot and humid conditions can be
expected with heat indicies at least in the mid 90s.

Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, a cold front will bring
numerous thunderstorms to the area. However, it is too early to
determine the severe threat or rainfall amounts.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Toward the northeast at 25 to 30 mph.
