...Slow-moving thunderstorms will impact portions of northern
Whiteside, Carroll, northeastern Rock Island, Scott, Clinton,
southeastern Jackson, northeastern Muscatine and southern Cedar
Counties through 800 AM CDT...

At 714 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking slow-moving thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Milledgeville to near West Branch.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Clinton, Sterling, Morrison, Tipton, Durant, Mount
Carroll, Eldridge, DeWitt, Camanche, Fulton, Wilton, Walcott, Lanark,
Garden Plain, Milledgeville, Fairhaven, Albany, Princeton, and Long
Grove.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 258 and 295.
 Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 2.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
northwestern Illinois...and east central Iowa.
