...A slow-moving thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern
Whiteside, south central Carroll, northeastern Rock Island and
southeastern Clinton Counties through 800 PM CDT...

At 707 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a slow-moving thunderstorm
over Camanche, or near Clinton, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy Rain and Minor flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Slowing or redirecting of traffic due to ponding water.
         Closure of waterfront access due to flooding.

Locations impacted include... Clinton, Morrison, Camanche,
         Fulton, Garden Plain, Fairhaven, Albany, Lyndon, Low Moor,
         East Clinton, Union Grove, Ustick, Fenton, Rock Creek
         Marina and Campground, Folletts, Franklin Corners, Elvira,
         Morrison-Rockwood State Park, Whiteside County Fairgrounds,
         and Newton Corners.

This includes Interstate 88 between mile markers 24 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
