...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT
FOR PUTNAM AND SOUTHERN BUREAU COUNTIES...

At 343 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Bureau  County Fairgrounds to near Lone Tree Corners,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Princeton, Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Granville, Ladd, Wyanet,
Sheffield, Tiskilwa, Dalzell, Buda, Bureau Junction, McNabb, Putnam,
Mark, Cherry, Neponset, Seatonville, Magnolia, and Standard.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 40 and 72.
 Interstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms are producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a
sturdy structure and stay away from windows.
