...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...Kansas...

  Missouri River at Atchison affecting Buchanan, Atchison and
  Platte Counties.

  Missouri River At Miami affecting Chariton, Saline and Carroll
  Counties.

  Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Ray, Lafayette and Jackson
  Counties.

  Missouri River at Waverly affecting Lafayette, Saline and Carroll
  Counties.

  Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Doniphan, Buchanan and
  Andrew Counties.

  Missouri River at Leavenworth affecting Platte and Leavenworth
  Counties.

  Missouri River above Parkville affecting Wyandotte, Leavenworth
  and Platte Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Missouri River at Boonville affecting Howard, Moniteau, Cooper
  and Boone Counties.

  Missouri River at Glasgow affecting Chariton, Saline and Howard
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY, JULY 06...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Atchison.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, July 06.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas on the Missouri side of
  the river begin to flood.
  At 25.0 feet, A castings plant in Atchison is affected by flood
  waters.
  At 27.0 feet, River Road in Atchison floods and levees on the
  Missouri side of the river are overtopped. If the river remains
  above 27 feet for several days then U.S. Highway 59 and large
  portions of the floodplain in Missouri flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 22.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.9
    feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Friday, July 05.

  begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:17 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0
    feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Sunday, July 07.

  begin to flood.
  At 24.5 feet, The Missouri-Pacific Railroad tracks are overtopped.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.5
    feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Saturday, July 06.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at St Joseph.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, July 06.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding upstream and downstream
  from St. Joseph occurs.
  At 19.0 feet, Backwater from the Missouri River floods property
  along the Nodaway river at Nodaway, Missouri.
  At 21.0 feet, Riverfront Park in St. Joseph begins to flood.
  At 24.0 feet, A residential area in northwest St. Joseph begins to
  flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:35 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.6
    feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage Friday, July 05.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING TO SATURDAY,
JULY 06...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Leavenworth.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening to Saturday, July 06.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding occurs along the east and
  west banks of the river.
  At 22.3 feet, Water enters Riverfront Park in Leavenworth. In
  addition, 2nd Street at the waste water treatment plant is closed
  due to high water. Persons should vacate the park to avoid the
  loss of life and property.
  At 23.4 feet, The Hildebrandt Island north of Fort Leavenworth
  begins to flood and families in this area need to evacuate.
  At 25.2 feet, Water overtops the levee north of Fort Leavenworth.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 23.3 feet early Wednesday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday, July
    05.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the South Main
  Street Bridge and a significant portion of English Landing Park
  floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 22.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Monday morning to a crest of 27.5 feet Wednesday
    evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday, July 05.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Boonville.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to Monday, July 08.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas along the river
  flood.
  At 23.8 feet, Easley River Road and Smith Hatchery Road begin to
  flood.
  At 25.0 feet, Numerous farm levees are overtopped. Flooding of
  agricultural land and secondary roads occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:04 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Monday morning to a crest of 23.4 feet Friday, July 05.
    It will then fall below flood stage Sunday, July 07.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

  At 27.0 feet, Many agricultural levees are overtopped. Widespread
  flooding of rural areas occurs. Secondary roads and homes behind
  levees may be inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 23.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Monday evening to a crest of 27.0 feet Friday, July 05. It
    will then fall below flood stage Saturday, July 06.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
