...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN PUTNAM AND SCHUYLER COUNTIES...

At 355 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Queen City, or
near Lancaster, moving southeast at 25 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR LANCASTER AND QUEEN CITY.

HAZARD...Softball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement. Several reports of hail from golf ball to
         softball size have been received from Schuyler County.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Lancaster, Queen City, Glenwood, Worthington, and Livonia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place
of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small
interior room.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
