283 THIS AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...Breezy to windy west to northwest winds are
expected to continue this afternoon, with the strongest winds late
afternoon through mid evening. Gusts from 25 to 35 mph are likley,
with strongest winds over the exposed ridges in Lake County. Gusty
winds up to 30mph in the channeled terrain and gaps of Trinity
County this afternoon. Minimum RH`s are expected to range between
15 and 25% this afternoon in Lake, Trinity and interior Mendocino
counties. Moderate to locally poor RH recoveries around 30% to
50% will likely continue for the next several days over exposed
ridges, while moderate to good recoveries are expected again
tonight at lower elevations with RH values in the 40 to 60% range.
Lighter NE winds develop in eastern Trinity and eastern Lake
county Monday morning, dropping RH values into the low teens
across most of Lake, Trinity and interior Mendocino tomorrow.
Elevated fire weather threat is then expected on Tuesday with low
afternoon RH`s, and light west winds up to 12mph.
