.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
A storm system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the
forecast area today, with the highest chances in the afternoon.
Rainfall amounts across the area today are expected to mainly range
from 0.25-0.5 inch, although locally higher amounts will be possible
with stronger storms that occur. Minimum RH values will range from
50-65 percent. Winds today will be W to NW at 4-8 mph in north
Georgia and SW at 6-12 mph in central Georgia. Scattered diurnally
driven thunderstorms and minimum RH values well outside of critical
thresholds are expected across the area once again on Friday. Winds
on Friday will be primarily S to SE at 5-10 mph.
