This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue in central
Georgia into this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday...

Hot and humid conditions are expected in the region through the
upcoming weekend. A Heat Advisory has been issued for the
Independence Day holiday. Additional Heat Advisories may be
needed on Friday or over the weekend, especially in central
Georgia. Heat index values in the 98 to 108 degree range are
expected through the weekend.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue in the region through
Tuesday. Storm activity should be most widespread during the
afternoon and evening hours each day. The risk for severe weather
remains low.
