...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL BENSON...
SOUTHEASTERN TOWNER...SOUTHWESTERN CAVALIER AND NORTHWESTERN RAMSEY
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 347 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Churchs Ferry, or 21 miles northwest of Devils Lake, moving north at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cando, Munich, Starkweather, Penn, Alsen, Egeland, and Calio.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
