...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN NORMAN...SOUTHEASTERN POLK AND MAHNOMEN COUNTIES...

At 1037 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Winger to White Earth Nation, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Fosston, Mahnomen, McIntosh, Island Lake in Mahnomen County,
Naytahwaush, Winger, and Bejou.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across warned area. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.

These are dangerous storms. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
