  James River near Mitchell affecting Davison and Hanson Counties.

  James River near Forestburg affecting Sanborn County.

  James River near Scotland affecting Yankton, Hutchinson and Bon
  Homme Counties.

  East Fork Vermillion River below Montrose affecting McCook County.

  Turkey Ridge Creek near Centerville affecting Turner County.

  Vermillion River near Wakonda affecting Clay County.

  Vermillion River near Davis affecting Lincoln and Turner Counties.

  Vermillion River near Vermillion affecting Clay County.

  Redwood River at Marshall affecting Lyon County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  flooded and water reaches the bottom of the bridge on 250th.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Saturday was 14.7 feet.

  impassible including 407th, 240th, 241st and 243rd and some roads
  are under water for as much as 1/2 mile.

  - At 8:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 14.3 feet Monday morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.

  bridge on 431st Avenue 4 miles southeast of the Maxwell Colony.
  Maxwell road about 200 yards northeast of the bridge begins to
  flood.

  - At 8:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:30 AM CDT Saturday was 20.1 feet.
