  Little Sioux River near Milford affecting Dickinson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO EARLY SATURDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River at Spencer.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, The floodplain and some of the walking
  trails within Spencer city park are flooded. Some rural
  agricultural areas also begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:00 AM CDT Monday was 10.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.7
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHEN...From this morning to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural and pasture land
  begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 5:00 AM CDT Monday was 12.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 13.3 feet this afternoon.
    It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening to 10.5
    feet Thursday morning. It will rise to 10.6 feet Thursday
    evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
