Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 1322.5 feet, Most banks begin to be overtopped and
overspill into nearby agricultural land.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Milford.
* WHEN...From Monday afternoon to early Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural and pasture land
begins.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 13.3 feet early Tuesday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING TO SATURDAY
MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Little Sioux River at Spencer.
* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, The floodplain and some of the walking
trails within Spencer city park are flooded. Some rural
agricultural areas also begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 9.9 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will continue rising to flood stage of
10.0 feet by Tuesday morning, and then peak around 10.6 feet
Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday
morning.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
