Dangerous heat is expected again this afternoon with heat index values exceeding 105 across nearly all of North and Central Texas. There is a low chance for thunderstorms in East Texas today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Oppressive heat will persist through Thursday, with heat index values between 105 and 110 degrees each day. Storm chances will return Thursday night and continue through the upcoming weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. $$
