In east central Nebraska, Polk. * WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 753 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated continued elevated stream levels on the Silver Creek, Prairie Creek, and Clear Creek. This is a result of runoff from thunderstorms that produced 3 and 6 inches of rain Friday night. Clear Creek near Shelby appears to have reached a crest of 8.24 feet at 1245 PM CDT, but will take several hours to recede. Minor flood state at that gauge is 7.5 feet. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
