...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT VALLEY...NORTHWESTERN BUFFALO...
SHERMAN AND NORTHEASTERN DAWSON COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 710 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Taylor to near Weissert to 7 miles
northeast of Eddyville. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Arcadia around 720 PM CDT.
  Litchfield around 725 PM CDT.
  Elyria and Fort Hartsuff State Park around 730 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Ord, Loup City,
Hazard, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Ravenna, North Loup, Ashton and Poole.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central and central Nebraska.
