...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BUFFALO AND DAWSON
COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Willow Island, or 18 miles west of Lexington, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Cozad around 715 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this storm include Eddyville.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 231.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Nebraska.
