...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL EAGLE AND
SOUTHEASTERN ROUTT COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 441 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles west of Radium, or 38 miles northeast of Glenwood Springs,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mc Coy, Burns, Bond, and State Bridge.

This includes Colorado 131 between mile markers 12 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northwestern Colorado.
