...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MONTROSE COUNTY THROUGH
415 PM MDT...

At 332 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 19
miles northeast of Nucla, or 22 miles west of Montrose, moving east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Olathe.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 81 and 82.
 Colorado 90 between mile markers 82 and 84.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
