...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL GARFIELD COUNTY
THROUGH 745 PM MDT...

At 708 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 17 miles north of Parachute to 25 miles
northwest of De Beque. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Garfield County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
