...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MESA COUNTY THROUGH
700 PM MDT...
At 628 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Grand Junction, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, Cameo, Fruitvale, Clifton, Orchard
Mesa, Glade Park, and Redlands.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 21 and 57.
U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 32 and 38.
Colorado 65 between mile markers 56 and 61.
Colorado 141 between mile markers 158 and 162.
