This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10 pm MDT, 11 pm CDT
this evening for Wallace, Greeley, Logan, Wichita and Gove counties
in northwest Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

More widespread severe weather is anticipated Friday afternoon and
evening. Storms will develop in Colorado during the afternoon and
move through the remainder of the area Friday night. Some of these
storms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and a
few tornadoes. Locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding will also
be possible.

Hot temperatures return for Sunday with highs in the upper 90s to
lower 100s.

Spotters are encouraged to report any severe or significant weather
to the National Weather Service in Goodland via telephone or social
media.
