Showers and storms may affect northwest portions of Yuma county this evening with an isolated severe risk of wind gusts around 60 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... On Friday, a few strong to potentially severe thunderstorms are forecast from early afternoon through about 12 AM MDT for locations generally north of a line from Kit Carson to Colby and Norton. Strong and gusty winds along with large hail will be the main hazards from the stronger storms. Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees are forecast Monday and Tuesday afternoons generally east of Highway 25. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not anticipated. $$
