This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

There is a Marginal Risk for a severe thunderstorm early this
evening across the northwest half of Yuma county and perhaps extreme
northwest Kit Carson and Dundy counties. Brief thunderstorm wind
gusts to 60 mph and hail up to the size of quarters will be
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

On Friday, a few strong to potentially severe thunderstorms are
forecast from early afternoon through about 12 AM MDT for locations
generally north of a line from Kit Carson to Colby and Norton. Strong
and gusty winds along with large hail will be the main hazards from
the stronger storms.

Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees are forecast Monday and Tuesday
afternoons generally east of Highway 25.
