...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CHEYENNE AND KIT CARSON COUNTIES
IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO THROUGH 600 PM MDT...

At 525 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of thunderstorms
along a line extending from 12 miles south of Cope to 7 miles south
of Stratton to 8 miles south of Kit Carson. Movement was east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Stratton around 530 PM MDT.
  Bethune around 535 PM MDT.
  Burlington and Cheyenne Wells around 545 PM MDT.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Kansas near mile marker 0.
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 414 and 450.
 Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 206, and near mile marker
211.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This thunderstorm will produce strong winds resulting in areas of
near zero visibility in blowing dirt. Use extreme caution if you must
travel and be alert for rapidly changing visibility.
