Northeastern Hitchcock County in southwestern Nebraska... * Until 930 PM CDT. * At 825 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Culbertson, or 9 miles west of McCook, moving northeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. The storm has had a history of producing hail larger than 2 inches. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
