...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR WESTERN RED WILLOW AND NORTHEASTERN HITCHCOCK COUNTIES...

At 759 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Culbertson, or
8 miles west of McCook, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...At 7:45 PM CDT, the public reported 1 inch hail in
         Culbertson.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
western Red Willow and northeastern Hitchcock Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
