Mostly cloudy skies prevailed across the region during the late
morning as a low-level cloud deck lingered across much of
northeast Wisconsin. Breezy southwest winds were observed across
the forecast area with some gusts to 25 mph reported in the Fox
Valley. 11 AM temperatures ranged from the mid 60s near the
lakeshore to the upper 70s across central Wisconsin.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will return later this
afternoon, mainly south of Highway 10 and across the far north.
However, most of the forecast are should remain dry. High
temperatures are expected to range from the mid 70s across north-
central Wisconsin to the low 80s southeast of an Iron Mountain to
Wisconsin Rapids line.

Any lingering showers are expected to come to an end late this
evening and overnight. Cloud cover will gradually decrease from
the south tonight, allowing low temperatures to dip down into the
upper 40s across the Northwoods to the upper 50s in the Fox
Valley. Mostly sunny skies and low humidity are expected for
tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 70s.
