A broken line of strong to severe thunderstorms was observed across portions of central and north-central Wisconsin. Reports of three quarter inch hail, 60 mph wind gusts, and heavy downpours were associated with the strongest storms. 10 AM temperatures ranged from the mid 50s in areas that received storms to the low 80s in central Wisconsin where it was mostly storm-free. Departing storms will give way to rising heat and humidity this afternoon across central and east-central Wisconsin, where heat indices could potentially climb into the low 90s. High temperatures will vary greatly with readings in the low to mid 70s across the north where cloud cover and rain will linger to the upper 80s in east-central Wisconsin. Another round of showers and thunderstorms is then possible late this afternoon and evening. Some of these storms could become strong to severe with damaging winds, hail, and heavy downpours the main threats. Heat and humidity will persist tomorrow with high temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s. Heat index values approaching 100 degrees may be possible at times. $$ Goodin
