The heat and humidity was noticeable this afternoon with
temperatures in the middle to upper 80s (away from Lake Michigan),
but heat index values in the upper 80s to middle 90s. South winds
were also gusting up to 30 mph at times.

Chances for thunderstorms will return late this evening and
overnight as a cold front sweeps across the area. Heavy downpours
and lightning will be the main threats, however cannot rule out a
few stronger wind gusts or hail.

Lows tonight will range from 60 to 73 degrees. Highs Wednesday
will be in the 70s to low 80s with decreasing humidity. On and off
chances for thunderstorms will continue.
