This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, Piedmont
North Carolina, the mountains of western North Carolina, and Upstate
South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected
today across the region. Any storm which develops will be capable of
producing gusty winds, cloud-to-ground lightning, and localized heavy
rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, Piedmont
North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected
today across the region. Any storm which develops will be capable of
producing gusty winds, cloud-to-ground lightning, and localized heavy
rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday afternoon
and evening. A few of these storms may become strong to severe. Any
storm which becomes severe will be capable of producing damaging
winds.

Hot and humid conditions are also expected Sunday afternoon and
evening, with high temperatures climbing into the middle 90s. Maximum
heat index values of 105 degrees or higher are possible, especially
in the Charlotte Metro area, the Savannah River Valley, and parts of
the southern SC Upstate. These conditions will present an increased
risk of heat-related illness for those who are sensitive to heat and
to those without access to air conditioning. Avoid spending extended
time outdoors during the hottest part of the day.
