This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms is expected this
afternoon and evening. A few of these storms could become severe and
produce damaging wind gusts and hail.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A tropical system is expected to strengthen in the Gulf of Mexico
on Wednesday and Thursday as it tracks northward. This system is
expected to impact the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia
Thursday and Friday, bringing gusty winds and heavy rainfall to the
area.
