...DEGRADED NOAA WEATHER RADIO COVERAGE IN THE ROCK HILL AREA...

The NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter broadcasting from
Rock Hill South Carolina, serving the Piedmont of the Carolinas,
is broadcasting at low power. This means its signal does not reach
as far as it normally does. The equipment was likely damaged by a
lightning strike. An extended period of maintenance will be
needed before service can be fully restored. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause our listeners.

Alternate broadcasts are available for portions of the Rock Hill
coverage area on 162.475 or 162.55 MHz.
