...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SPARTANBURG AND
NORTHWESTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM EDT...

At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles north of Spartanburg, or 4 miles west of Mayo, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Gaffney, Boiling Springs SC, Mayo, Chesnee, Cowpens
National Battlefield, Lake Bowen, USC Upstate, Cowpens, and
Fingerville.
